I know what it feels like to pour your energy into teaching... and slowly start to lose yourself in the process.

I began my career teaching second grade in public schools, and at first, I truly loved it. Building relationships with students and creating meaningful learning experiences felt fulfilling and purpose-driven.

But over time, the reality of the system began to take a toll.

Increasing demands, constant directives, and a lack of trust left little room for autonomy. What once energized me became something I carried home every day, both mentally and emotionally.

Eventually, I realized I wasn't showing up as the teacher… or the person I wanted to be.

Choosing what was right for me was one of the most difficult decisions I've ever made.

I wrestled with guilt, uncertainty, and worries about what others would think if I left.

But on the other side of that decision, I found something I hadn't felt in a long time: clarity, relief, and a renewed sense of freedom.

That experience is what led me here.

Today, I help teachers who feel stuck, burned out, or unsure of what comes next. My role isn't to convince you to leave the classroom. It's to help you reconnect with yourself so you can make decisions that feel aligned, grounded, and truly your own.
